Set at the Astor Cinema in Mtlawley, Miss Africa Perth 2009 proved to be the greatest African event of the year. Over 450 people were in attendance among them politicians, African elders, diplomats, fashion editors and socialites. For more pics go to .missafricaaustralia.com.au
Miss Africa Perth (MAP) Contest 2010 will see 16 beautiful African women from various African countries take to the centre stage and compete for the chance to be crowned Miss Africa Perth 2010. Not only will the contestants parade in 3 exquisite outfits (funky, evening and African wear), they will entertain the audience with their various talents ranging from dance, singing, acting and poetry. The evening is set to be full of unexpected surprises and will showcase Perth’s best dance groups and singing sensations!
But the highlight of the event is of course the crowning of Miss Africa Perth 2010. The winner will be expected to embark on a project that will have tangible benefits to the African community in WA.
